Adapt

They say “You never know how strong you are, until being strong is your only option.” They made it sound like you had an invisible pond within you. A mysterious pond you never knew about just waiting for you to reach in and grab it’s gold called strength. –

Though, l would never refute that you are strong; who is anyone to truly judge the capability of someone.

I will tell you what no one ever told me because I too have been weak in the past. The most strengthening aspect is learning to adapt to all that is thrown at you. Meaning adapt to those things you thought you would never face or be ready for.

You have strength within you yes, it’s how you handle minor situations, it’s how you see the light. But those overwhelming, body shaking situations? How do you get over them? With what strength? It is the strength that we gain from adapting. We adapt to walking on the broken shards of glass, adapt to walking on fire, adapt to the rain if you dislike it and the puddles, just adapt to all your experiences and the greatest strength you’ve ever known will prevail. All you need is a pinch of will. I truly believe by mastering this, it leads you to places. Your bud can bloom beautifully. And growth would be the rays bouncing off your skin like a mirror beaconing you to see what power really is.
